Gyro Converter provides a tough forearm and shoulder workout with similar fatigue factor as when using the gyro for wrist and hand. 

Step 1: Remove the elastic band from around the gyro.
Step 2: Slide the handle over the middle of the gyro. There is a groove it will fit into.
Step 3: Tighten the handle. You don't have to overdo it but it should be snug.
Step 4: Start the gyro as you would normally with your hand motion. Get it up to a good speed.
Step 5: Transfer to your dominate hand to start with gyro facing down and the handle therefore up.
Step 6: Try a stirring motion as if stirring thick dough in a bowl. A tight grip can help but don't try to stir too fast to begin with.
Step 7: After mastering the initial motion try your non-dominate hand and then other grips.
